You've already thought about your New Year's Resolutions.  What are you DOING about them now?  I hope they're not forgotten, because it's a great time to create real change in your life.  I'm working with a client who wants to buy around ten income properties in Burlington this year.  We looked at several properties during the icy and snowy Christmas season, and wrote the first offer today (and it was accepted).  I had more visits to my listings on realtor.com and mojennison.com during the month of December than I did all year long.  There is a lot of interest out there, and I think this is going to be a very productive year for our economy.  It's good to be back on a schedule although I thoroughly enjoyed my family and friends over the holidays.  I'm back on my "live-it", (not di-et) program, and I'm using my aerodyne bike and elliptical trainer for 30 minutes a day-----hope I can report 45 minutes on my next Blog.  My favorite lunch is a small Greek Salad at Mr. Moto's in downtown Burlington.  If you haven't discovered that charming place yet, make it a resolution to try it out.  I also made some asparagus soup out of the new cookbook, "Old World Cafe" by Patti Williams.  I can send you the cookbook for $12.50 plus shipping, and you'll love it for sure.  Patti was my Office Manager for nine years, and is now finding time to do some fun things that she really enjoys.  I look for the real estate market in Burlington to be very active.  Let me know if I can help you with your real estate challenges.  Have you discovered the new "Our Iowa" magazine yet.  They sent out a premier edition and I have several.  I'd be happy to send you one for FREE until I run out.  I've had a great response from the small ad I put in it.  If you are thinking of moving to Iowa, or if you have moved away and still want to keep in touch with the people in the hawk eye state, this would be the perfect solution for you.  Have a great year, but don't waste a minute of it!  Life is a journey that you really don't want to miss out on.
