This is a question I get asked every day.  Our market here has been strong when others have been slowing down all over the country.  Interest rates are low and money is available for financing.  Our overall economy is hurting for lack of new industry and jobs, but the people maintain a positive attitude knowing that Burlington, Ia. is a great place to live.,  Our quality of life in this historic town overlooking the Mississippi River is to be envied.  Great churches, schools, shopping, and a downtown on the riverfront that is being revitalized.  Although we have optimism, it has not been easy to recover from the flood of 2008, but in comparison to other natural disasters, we have been very lucky.  I sold a new listing last week end that had four offers on it!  That is not the general trend of the market, as we have had many that have been on the market a long time.  Prices have lowered somewhat which motivates buyers, and the sellers can then move on to make another choice.  We have a lot to choose from-------historic mansions to newer subdivisions and acreages.  Let us know what you want, and we'll find it for you.  Thanks for visiting this website.  Let us hear from you!
